lyrics

If life is a pigeon, I am a statue
Apparently some birds just don’t fly
From here in the town square; I get to look at you
While everyone else looks at the

They tell you at our age, the people get wiser
But that’s not the case for me
It’s funny how grass grows with fertilizer
I’ll take it and see

I’m trying to build myself back up again
I get a little lost every now and then
I’m trying to build myself back up again

I only say sorry, when I get caught
If nobody knows then who gets hurt?
Don’t try to compare us, we’re not the same
We come from different parts of holes in space
Wish I could erase all that went wrong, it’s been so long

I’m trying to build myself back up again
I get a little lost every now and then
I’m trying to build myself back up again

There’s still one thing on my mind:
If I say it’s not your fault, then, is it mine?

I’m trying to build myself back up again
Exactly when I’m done I won’t know when
I’m trying to build myself back up again

I don’t know what I’m going to do without you
